This one might be a bit challenging at first, but with time you’ll nail it!You’ll need a good way to end your Soleá, so we take a look at a few options you have for doing that.Lesson 5 includes two videos covering: Important Note and Putting it Together. This lesson gets to the heart of how flamenco works, which should make much more sense now that you have all the material necessary to put together your first solo. Here we look at some of the options and how to choose which one might be best for you. It requires years upon years of practice to master all these flamenco techniques and be able to play fast and clean, just as the flamenco genre requires. Here's the full correct sequence of this technique:Tremolo should be played as fast as you can, you can't play it slowly otherwise it wouldn't be “tremolo”. There are lots of ways to hold the guitar. We also look a little bit at whole steps and half steps. It is time now to talk about the basic techniques of the flamenco guitar, and start playing flamenco on the guitar right away! You play the base or the root note on the lowest string with your thumb (1 stroke), while on the higher E string you do 4 strokes continuously like this: Index -> Ring -> Middle -> Index. Along the way you will learn all of the flamenco guitar techniques you need to know as well as a deep understanding of how flamenco guitar works. As we discuss how to arrange your own solo, we’ll learn the essence of how the flamenco mind thinks. Depending on how much you practice, you can play notes really fast with this technique.Golpe is the reason you need a “pick-guard” that we mentioned previously. It's possible to make it a quadruplet if you can use Legato to add another note.Legato is simply another name for pull-off's, and hammer-on's. These are the rest-stroke scales you’ve heard played at blinding speeds, and as with all technique we ned to learn some good fundamentals before we get going too fast, so we look at the mechanics and a few exercises before getting to our picado falseta. In this lesson we apply our new picado technique to a new falseta that uses nothing but picado. In this lesson we review arpeggio technique and add a new arpeggio exercise. Unlike with the classical guitar where you would normally “pluck” each string up with your fingers, Picado relies on striking downward to the point where your fingers slightly touch the strings above. Golpe is the act of tapping your finger on the body of the guitar, either below or above the strings, to create a percussion sound. By the end of this lesson we’ll really sound like flamenco guitarists! We look at another one of the main Escobilla melodies used in Soleá and we introduce arpeggio technique, which is the basis for much of our right-hand technique on the guitar. This will help you make sense of all of your future flamenco studies. Along the way you will learn all of the flamenco guitar techniques you need to know as well as a deep understanding of how flamenco guitar works. If you’ve always wanted to learn flamenco guitar but weren’t sure how to begin, this course is for you! Some advice for anyone who might be feeling a bit overwhelmed, or like progress isn’t happening as fast as you’d like. We're currently running a SALE! This is a good video to watch if this is all new to you. Plus it’s an important preparation for the falseta in the next lesson. We look at a falseta that combines arpeggio and picado and ends in a long scale run that will make you apply all of the good habits you’ve picked up in previous lessons. There are many ways to do this technique, however when you tap on the area above the strings, where you normally wouldn't have the “tap plate” to protect the soundboard, be careful not to tap too hard because you might damage it.Alzapua is simply a triplet with your thumbnail only.
