Your aim is to jump down to this root, and to do will require some patience and a bit of luck. While this attack can be blocked or dodged, if it makes contact with the player, will stagger them; the sweep will push while the slam will act like most overhead attacks in which will cause the player to fall momentarily. There's a slight variation on this attack; instead of a swipe and slam, you'll be met with two quick swipe attacks.
However, the boss itself is bull*****Try blocking the swipes with a shield, it works pretty well. Sometimes the bed of chaos will do her swiped right as you go up, thus knocking you off. Make sure not to sprint mindlessly as you will fall in the collapsing floor; stay attentive to the floor, more so than the boss.Once you take both the orbs, carefully proceed down the middle, but expect a mass chunk of the floor to fall through. At the very least I can tell myself the developers intended for the frustration when you get knocked down the holes etc but this glitchy sweep attack which sometimes screws you regardless of timing the dodge perfectly triggers me like nothing else man This is my favorite boss I don't know what you talking about its a fair boss words cannot describe how my ass felt after killing this thingA bonfire halfway to this pathetic cartoon of a puzzle boss would have been a waste of precious frustrationThe easiest way to get through this boss is as follows. Let me share the thing I personally hate about the boss and that’s when the hand swipes fail to let you dodge THROUGH them and instead slide you along the floor during your roll which guarantees damage as the hit box extends throughout the full sweep while our dodge relies on Iframes which end much sooner. Be careful that the hitbox of the glowing root lies behind regular roots, and while these can be destroyed by arrows, it may take a couple of tries after clearing them up as the hitbox of the glowing root is small. The long run back from the bonfire each time definitely added to the frustration.Just bait the palm slam attack, and then run to the roots. Before you do so, pay attention to the pattern of melee swings of the boss, so that they do not hit you midair and cause you to fail the jump. The Bed of Chaos is a boss fight with a difference.
The Bed of Chaos is most likely what has become of the Witch of Izalith after her failed attempt to recreate the first flame. Her power came from the soul that she found near the First Flame... She focused this power to light a flame of her own, but she failed to control it. The only times I land on the branch, I roll off. Fire resistance saved me for the second part. Once she does it, run right up to the boss in the center. But now it's taken me 10+ times.
The floor will crumble, and you will have to jump onto the middle root. You should try to bait out the palm slam attack by getting towards the center of the room, and then running back a bit.
If a circle appears under you run as fast as you can somewhere else as this powerful spell can easily kill you instantly if you don't have some form of fire protection. Hopefully this helps somebody. The Bed of Chaos birthed all demons in existence and holds the Chaos … To get inside you're going to have to do some tricky moves, avoid Bed of Chaos' deadly attacks and take care not to fall through the collapsing floor. The Bed of Chaos is an absolute **** of a boss, so I assume that some people have a lot of trouble with it.Heres how i beat the chaos bed:Put on full Havel (from a secret room in anor londo) And a fast weapon and great shield/100% block shield,(damage dont matter when it only has 2 HP. I beseech you. The floor doesn't crumble there, and if it is doing the palm slam attack as you run by you should have enough time to make it to the root.
Bed of Chaos may have destroyed the floor to try and kill you, but his efforts also have a side effect he didn't intend. If you did make it, run all the way through the tunnel inside of Bed of Chaos, swatting any annoying branches out of the way with your weapon of choice. The Bed of Chaos is a boss fight with a difference.

DON'T immediately try to run up. Intense action within the dungeons, encounters with terrifying enemies and innovative online features combine for a unique gaming experience. Bed of Chaos is a boss in Dark Souls, found in Lost Izalith. Make sure you stay close to where the boss does its swipes.
In a futile attempt to prolong the Age of Fire, the She will often do a slow sweeping attack in which she drags a hand across the ground then raises her fist - a little slowly - and slams it down quickly afterwards, on the side the arm is located on. He'll still destroy more of the floor but he'll also now perform a deadly Pillar of Flame attack, which is telegraphed by the fiery circles that appear on the ground. Once that's done, run directly towards the middle of Bed of Chaos and at the last second branch off slightly to the right and hit circle to perform a jump and/or roll animation. The Flame of Chaos engulfed Mother and my sisters, and moulded them into deformed creatures. To get easily to the orange sphere hug the walls, and when you're there break apart the branches preventing your entry.
